Come as you are; No perfect people allowed.
Craig McGlassion - Lead Pastor
Craig McGlassion is the lead pastor of Paradox Church and has been here since it started. Craig often shares that his favorite thing about Paradox is how the church really embodies the motto, “come as you are, no perfect people allowed.” It’s an environment of grace in which we grow and change, not an environment of criticism and judgement. The verse that really drove Craig to start the church was a verse he read in the Bible in the book of Nehemiah 7:6, “these are the people who came up from the captivity of the exile”. Through that verse, God gave him a vision of a church that would reach people far from the heart, knowledge and experience of God. In his free time Craig likes to . . . HA HA. He has three young kids; he doesn’t have any free time! But when Craig is having fun outside of work he is usually snowboarding, mountain biking, running or hunting, or doing anything with his greatest passion: his family, wife Nicole, son Tobin and twin daughters, Joslyn and Corinne.
Tom Gibson - Assistant Pastor and Worship Leader
Tom is a pastor, is the leader of Paradox’s Creative Arts Ministry, and has been with Paradox since 2009. He leads a team of music leaders, graphic designers, production technicians and creates most of the videos for Paradox. His passion is to make much of Jesus and to help create church services where imperfect people can “come as they are.” He and his wife Jenna have two little girls who do their best to keep their parents running around in a cloud of pink ribbons, bows, and Disney music. Tom can usually be found laughing loudly during one of his amazing ADD moments backstage or in one of the hallways of Paradox.
Greg Meehan - Assistant Pastor and Co-Leader of Finance
Greg Meehan is a pastor and co-leader of the finance ministry at Paradox. Greg and his beautifully, awesome wife Hilary have a daughter, Layla, a son, Judah, and black lab who goes by Wally. Greg loves learning more about Jesus, spending time with his family, and playing any type of sport. He also loves nachos, mental math, and any season not named winter.
Mike Nank - Assistant Pastor and Director of Family Ministries
Mike Nank is one of the pastors of Paradox. He and his wife April have a passion for loving and teaching kids, which is why they lead the Journey, our children’s ministry. His fun-loving nature and kid-like antics make “Mr. Mike” one of the kids’ favorite teachers. Mike enjoys being active and putting his creativity to work. Though hopelessly addicted to Mountain Dew, his greater vice is serving the Lord. Mike finds peace and hope through reading the Bible and verses like Romans 8:28.
Stephen Lemon - Student Ministry Leader
Stephen Lemon is the youth leader for the Revolution Student Ministry at Paradox Church, where he works to create opportunities for students to connect with God, peers, and mentors. Stephen and his loving wife Amber have two sons, Anthony and Chris, who are both active volunteers with Paradox’s production and worship ministries. Stephen loves looking deeper into the Bible in hopes of better understanding the wonderful nature of God. He also loves spending time with his family, creating any type of video or media, hanging with Star Wars fans (you know who you are), and playing any type of sport. Some of his other favorite things include: soccer, spending time with friends, getting to know new people, and seeing new places.
April Nank - Lead Administrator and Children's Ministry Leader
April Nank wears many hats at Paradox. She and her husband Mike lead the children’s ministry, the Journey. April also acts as an administrator for Paradox, maintaining the database, welcoming new guests, and MANY other tasks. She enjoys homeschooling their daughters Trinity and Charity, watching TV and movies, and talking with friends. April’s favorite verse is Romans 12:12, and her favorite fruit of the spirit is JOY.
Courtney Dykstra - Director of Small Groups
Courtney Dykstra and her husband Paul lead the Small Groups ministry at Paradox. They enjoy having the opportunity to connect with new people, grow closer to Jesus, and build stronger relationships at Paradox. Paul and Courtney love playing with their two sons, eating out at restaurants, and Starbucks’ chai lattes.
Paradox Church is a non-denominational Christian church located in Warren, MI in Macomb County. Our mission is to reach people far from God and lead them to becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus.
