What is VBS?
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a fun, high-energy week designed just for kids to learn about God in a way that’s engaging, memorable, and full of adventure! Through music, games, crafts, Bible stories, and small group time, kids build friendships and grow in their faith—all in a safe and welcoming environment. Whether they’ve been to church before or it’s their first time, every child is invited to come experience the joy and excitement of VBS!
What’s a typical VBS evening look like?
Our evening VBS runs for two fun-filled hours and is designed to keep your kids engaged, encouraged, and excited about living out their faith! Here’s what a typical night looks like:
🟡 Large Group Opening
We kick things off together with high-energy worship, fun skits, and an engaging Bible lesson to set the tone for the night.
🟢 Small Group Time (with Snack!)
Kids gather with their age group to dive deeper into the Bible story, build friendships, and enjoy a yummy snack.
🔵 Games
Get ready to move! High-energy, themed games help burn off energy and reinforce the night’s lesson through play.
🟣 Crafts
Kids get creative as they make something fun to take home—a hands-on way to remember what they’ve learned.
🟠 Large Group Closing
We wrap up the evening back together with music, a quick recap, and a look ahead to the next adventure!
