Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
THANK. Write down 5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.
WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations.
READ. Today’s scripture reading is from Ephesians 4:1-8
THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
Paradox Church is part of a larger movement of churches throughout the world called Antioch (learn more at antioch.org) We’re taking 22 Days to pray together for 2022. Find today’s prayer here.
The two words that open up this section of Scripture could be considered a Paradox these days… unity AND diversity. If you’re a follower of Jesus, we’re all the same. Same God. Same hope. Same call. And yet, we’re all incredibly different - and that’s just one church. Now think about the church down the street. The church in the city. The church in the south. The church on the west and east coast. The church around the world.
We’re the same. We’re different. And every one of us is needed.
Our sameness unifies us in our diversity - meaning we make what we have in common primary while appreciating our differences. How do we accomplish this seemingly impossible task? Humility. Gentleness. Patience. Love. Making every effort to maintain unity. Is there one of these God is highlighting to you today?
Worship - Join us for a night of worship and prayer to close the 22 days with the House of Prayer on Thursday, February 3 at 6pm at Paradox Church in Warren.
LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
