Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists & let it play in the background.
FOCUS. Breathe in & out slowly. Pray, because of Jesus’ resurrection, I have hope today.
THANK. Write down or say out loud 3-5 things you’re thankful for from the last 24 hours.
WORSHIP. Read Romans 5:12-21. Focus on one truth about who God is & thank Him for it.

S = Share. Who can you share what you’re learning with today?
THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave
The past, the present, and the future. Most people tend think largely in terms of only one. Maybe you’re nostalgic and sentimental, remembering and reveling in the “good old days.” Perhaps you’re practical, a realist, action-oriented - a “live for today” type. Or maybe you’re a dreamer - future oriented and possibility/hope driven. We actually carry these tendencies over into our faith. So what is Christianity all about? Christianity is not just about being forgiven for our past, living well in this present life, or our future hope in heaven. It’s about all of them. Jesus has saved us from our sin by his death and resurrection. Jesus is saving us for his purposes by his life and teaching. And Jesus will save us from death and separation from God for all eternity. What that means is that salvation is not a one time event! When(ever) the gospel is preached, we receive it and take our stand on it and - in the process - are (continuously) being saved by it! In today’s reading, Paul goes on to say that if we trust in Jesus for our future but don’t live it out in the present, we believe “in vain.” At the same time, if we trust Jesus Jesus with our future but don’t believe he rose to forgive our sin in the past, then not only is our faith worthless and in vain, but we should be pitied for our “belief.” The same God that rose Jesus from the dead has brought you to life - so live today in light of tomorrow! Look forward to and work toward eternal life in His kingdom. Receive it. Take your stand on it. In Jesus, you are being saved!
