Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
THANK. Write down 3-5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.
WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.
READ. Our Scripture Focus is Ephesians 6:10-20. Today’s reading is from Hebrews 4:12 & Psalm 119:1-8, 57-74, 121-128, 137-144 (Go Deeper: Matthew 4:1-4 & 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
There have been plenty of years I’ve gone out hunting for turkey or deer and seen absolutely none… only to see them all outside the car when I’m driving, when there’s absolutely nothing I can do about it. In order to attack, we need to have our “weapon” at the ready. God’s Word is a powerful, effective tool in our battle against the enemy. Does that mean we need to carry a Bible with us at all times? (With the YouVersion app, that’s a lot easier now!) Not physically, but there is one sure fire way to be ready to fight back against the lies and attacks of the enemy at the moment you need it - memorizing scripture. Carry God’s Word with you wherever you go, like a soldier carries a sword! Swords were carried on the right side of a soldier’s body, hanging either from his belt or a specifically designed strap. The only offensive weapon of this armor, the sword also served as a warning to the enemy when waved in the air. This piece of armor is the Word of God, and in order to be most effective, it must be used through the power of the Holy Spirit. What do today’s readings say about God’s Word? How is the Holy Spirit part of your engagement with God’s Word?
LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations.
CONNECT. Have a question, prayer request, or story? Connect with Us or reply to this text to let us know.

Run the race with endurance today, and stay focused on Jesus.
Make it a Great One!
