Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
WORSHIP Worship can be as simple as thanking God for who He is & what He’s done.
Play some worship music you love, or choose from one of our Spotify Playlists.
Say or journal what you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours. Start by playing or singing 1 song & writing 1 thing. Grow to 3-5 from there.
Going Deeper: Read Psalm 32:1-2. Focus on one truth about who God is & thank Him for it.
PRAYER Prayer is a conversation that involves both talking and listening to God.
Start praying for yourself using the Lord’s Prayer or pray for others using a Ripple Prayer. Start by praying for 2 minutes. Then, work your way up to 5, 10, or 15 minutes.

Today’s reading is from Romans 4
Families: Get Focused together using the Parent Cue app.

A THOUGHT FROM TODAY’S READING
Yesterday, Pastor Dave said: “God gives righteousness freely through faith” in Jesus. Agreed. The key is “through faith”. In today’s reading Paul holds up Abraham is the example of faith. We read that Abraham: “believed, hoping against hope” and “He did not weaken in faith..” and “He did not waver in unbelief at God’s promise.” Do I think it was easy for Abraham to believe God would deliver a child to he and his wife in old age? No. Was it easy for him to trust God when called to sacrifice his own son? Nope. But he did it. He realized that to be right with God and receive God’s promises he needed to do his part and believe, even when things looked bad. Paul points out that the same is true for us. Righteousness is credited to us when we choose to believe in God. God will give freely, but we need to receive freely.
