Happy 2sday, August Tue!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.

THANK. Write down 3-5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.

WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.

MEMORIZE. Our Scripture Focus for this study is Exodus 15:1-3. Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry God’s Word with us wherever we go.

READ. Today’s reading is Exodus 33. (Go Deeper: Genesis 3:8-10, Numbers 6:22-26)

THINK. A Thought from Pastor Mike…
If you polled all the people on Earth and asked them what one thing they would like to cast their eyes on including God himself, would there be any that would pick anything else? There may be a few knuckleheads who choose to see some supermodel naked, but c’mon…aren’t most people going to want to satisfy one of life’s greatest curiosities: what does God look like? Moses had a direct audience with God and he look his shot, boldly asking God if he could see him in all his glory. God gives him a glimpse, but explains that it would kill a human to see God’s full glory. So weird, and awesome. I don’t know exactly how we will “see” God the Father in heaven, but I know we will see Jesus and experience God’s glory and love. Until then I will settle for the glimpses I “see” of him in nature, my thoughts/dreams, and his love on display through those following him.

LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a lifegroup/church friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations. Pick one each day or pray through them all every day.
