THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
In this life, we all experience blessings and curses - consequences of choices we make or the choices others make that affect us. Many people assume these are because God is mad at them, getting back at them, rewarding them, or even being wishy-washy. Our God is a God of grace, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His love endures forever. And yet, He does discipline His children. His discipline is for our good - even flourishing - because how we live and what we do here and now matters. Both in this life and the next. Is it easy for you to recognize God’s blessing in your life? (Go back to the “Thank” section if you said yes!) Are there areas you sense God’s opposition? From today’s reading, what do you think God is responding to in His blessing and in His discipline?
LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a lifegroup/church friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations. Pick one each day or pray through them all every day.
CONNECT. Have a question, prayer request, or story? Let us know here or reply via text.

Run the race with endurance today, and stay focused on Jesus.
Make it a Great One!
