I’ve always loved the story of Nehemiah, but looking at it fresh through the perspective of PRAYER is awesome. Man, I want to be more like him! He models so many great practices as he takes this very heavy burden on his heart to God. He’s humble, yet bold. He is intentional and persistent, but then throws up a quick “flare prayer” when the situation calls for it. I don’t want to steal all your answers to the questions below, so I will just say we have a lot to learn about prayer from Nehemiah. We too can cast all our anxieties on God, because he cares for us! If we humble ourselves like Nehemiah and acknowledge God’s mighty hand, he will exalt us at the proper time. Amen!
