Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.
THANK. Write down 3-5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.
READ. Our Scripture Focus is Matthew 7:7-11. Try memorizing it during this study!
Today’s reading is from 2 Chronicles 33:1-20 (Going Deeper: Luke 5:27-32 & 2 Peter 3:9)
THINK. Thoughts & Prayers from Pastor Mike…
Imagine you have a child who actively defies you. He doesn’t just ignore you, but makes fake parent statues, flaunting his relationship with them…in your house! And, he leads others to do the same. You remove your provision and protection over him due to this rejection and then he cries out to you when things fall apart. What do you do?
This was the situation between God and Manasseh in our reading today. Read these 3 key sentences:
”(Manasseh) did a huge amount of evil in the LORD’s sight, angering him.”
”When he was in distress, he sought the favor of the Lord his God and earnestly humbled himself”
”He prayed to him, and the Lord was receptive to his prayer. He granted his request.”
To God be the glory! He forgave and restored Manasseh after a “huge amount of evil”. But don’t downplay Manasseh’s role in this process. He “earnestly humbled himself” and he prayed.
Do you find yourself in distress today? Are there ways you have actively ignored God’s leading for your life? Do you want to be forgiven and restored? Do you want the provision and protection of your good and willing heavenly Father? Then humble yourself and pray. Tell God what you are sorry for and ask for his restoration.
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a lifegroup/church friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations. Pick one each day or pray through them all every day.
TALK. That was our take on today’s reading - what’s yours? Share thoughts and ask questions in the forum.

Stay focused on Jesus today, and make it a great one!
