Willpower. We generally think of it as something that comes from within that drives us to accomplish things that are beyond our current ability. We can feel overwhelmed and exhausted trying to summon it, and defeated and hopeless when it runs out. But that promise of God - you will receive power - flips the idea upside down. Today, take your plans and goals for the upcoming year and give them to God. Ask what He is calling you to do. His plans are greater than the plans we have for ourselves and can often feel scary, if not downright impossible. But the beauty of God’s call is this - you don’t have to have the power to do it. When you ask Him, Holy Spirit WILL give you POWER to accomplish God’s purposes in your life. That’s WILL power!
