Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.

THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
For more than a thousand years, Christians around the world have observed Lent as a solemn season of self-reflection, repentance, and Scripture meditation as a means of preparing to celebrate Easter. We are invited - though not required - to do the same. This Lent, consider adding (or extending) an intentional time of prayer (see “Pray” below) to your Daily Focus Scripture reading throughout the books of 1 & 2 Chronicles. These books are a condensed account of Israel’s history. Together, they demonstrate that God is faithful to His promises at every turn. After seventy years in Babylonian exile, the Israelites had returned to their home. But their years in exile left them doubtful and disheartened, questioning their place in history and God’s authority and power. Perhaps you’re feeling the same after these last few years. This Lent, may you be reminded of God’s faithfulness, experience answered prayer, find forgiveness anew and healing afresh as you pray, seek His face, and turn from evil (surrender). Remember the words of Psalm 119:90 - though we may not see or understand God’s plans in a particular circumstance, season, or even our lifetime… God’s faithfulness is for all generations. Be encouraged as you lift your head from the cares and concerns of this present moment and our world to the God who was, is, and always will be. He is faithful from generation to generation.
PRAY. Join Paradox for a guided 21 day prayer journey every weekday throughout Lent, starting with 3 Days of Prayer & Fasting from February 27-March 1. In this Lent season, we are going to be using the P.R.A.Y. model.
P = Pause. As you start your time of prayer, begin by pausing and being still before the Lord.
R = Read. Read the passage of the day (from the 21 Day Prayer Guide) slowly and be sensitive to the words or phrases that the Holy Spirit is highlighting to you.
A = Ask. Ask God to come and speak to you. Open up your heart to Him as your heavenly Father.
Y = Yield. We want to yield our lives to the words we have prayed and commit to follow Jesus’s way.
Using the 21 Day Guide (starting March 2), pray Jesus, I surrender __________ to you today and trust in you.
