Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.

THANK.
Write down 5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.
WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.
READ. Today’s scripture reading is from Romans 15:5-6, James 5:7-11 & Galatians 5:13-15
THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
Have you ever had fruit before it’s ripe? It tastes ok… it might even provide some calories. But it’s definitely missing the fullness of taste that God intended. Ripe fruit requires patience. It’s waiting for the right season. And then the right time. Judging each other often comes from an appetite for justice that insists on being satisfied too soon. When we bite and devour each other, there may be some semblance of justice in it. But really, it’s more like biting into fruit before it's ripe. Unsatisfying. Empty. I love that the farmer in today’s reading waits for the early rain AND the late rain. Because each season brings something necessary for God’s fullness. Patience - waiting for God to do what is God’s to do - does something in us. God can do something in others. And things can change in our situation. It all comes together to produce good, ripe fruit. It takes strength, but our part is the waiting. When we do, we’ll taste and see that the Lord is good. Patience and endurance in your situation will bring about the fullness of the fruit of the Spirit in your life. Wait for it.
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations.
LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
