Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.
ENTER. Write down or say out loud 3-5 things you’re thankful for from the last 24 hours.
FOCUS. Slowly breathe in… and out. Pray, Jesus, I surrender to you today and trust in you.
READ.
Our Scripture Focus is 2 Chronicles 7:13-14. Try memorizing it during this study!
Today’s reading is from 2 Chronicles 13-16 & John 14:21
THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
Surrounded. It can be a wonderful or terrifying thing, depending on what you’re surrounded with. I’ll take being surrounded by family, friends, or beautiful scenery any day. Being surrounded by my worst enemies… not so much. Two times in today’s Scripture, that’s exactly where the people of Judah found themselves. Perhaps that’s where you find yourself today. Surrounded on every side. Relationally, emotionally, financially, mentally, spiritually… but here’s the good news. Every time the people sought God, he “gave them rest on every side.” What does it mean to seek God? Put Him first. Look to Him. Follow Him. When God is before you, there is rest on every side. When you’re surrounded, it’s tempting to focus on every side. But God has this way of bringing things to the forefront, helping you focus, giving strength for the fight, and snatching victory out of the jaws of defeat. You might feel exhausted from the battle - seek Him. God gives rest on every side. If you’re wondering where God is in your battle, remember 2 Chronicles 15:2 - the Lord is with you when you are with Him. Seek God with all your heart and your soul today. Wholeheartedly devote your entire life to the Lord. He’s fighting for you. Go back to 2 Chronicles 14:11 to pray the prayer found there over your battle, the place you feel surrounded or overwhelmed,
