Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
THANK. Write down 3-5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.
WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.
READ. Our Scripture Focus is Ephesians 4:1-6. Try memorizing it during this study!
Today’s reading is from Matthew 28:16-20 (Go Deeper: Matthew 10:27-42, Acts 8:26-38, Romans 10:14-17, 1 Corinthians 1:18-25 & Romans 1:16)
THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
You had one job! And yet, when it comes to doing it, well… let’s just say we have reasons. Re-read Matthew 28:16-20 and watch how Jesus gives us what we need in every one. He doesn’t just send us to do work - Jesus comes near in our doubts fears. He doesn’t ask us to do something we can’t do. Jesus gives us authority to do it. He doesn’t ask us to be educated or able to be a great public speaker. Jesus simply asks us to teach others what we’ve learned from Him. And he doesn’t leave us alone and afraid in a hostile world. Jesus promises to be with us. Always. Jesus doesn’t just give us a job to do. He gives us everything we need to do it! Jesus calls His Church to tell the good news to each other, our communities, and the world. Go, therefore! We have one job!
LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a lifegroup/church friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations. Pick one each day or pray through them all every day.
CONNECT. Have a question, prayer request, or story? Let us know here or reply via text.
SHARE. Invite a friend to read the Focus with you! Just text “FOCUS” to (586) 200-6277.

Run the race with endurance today, and stay focused on Jesus.
Make it a Great One!
