Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
THANK. Write down 3-5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.
WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.
MEMORIZE. Our Scripture Focus for this study is Exodus 15:1-3. Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry God’s Word with us wherever we go.
READ. Today’s reading is Exodus 35. (Go Deeper: John 10:17-18, Romans 12:1)
THINK. A thought from Pastor Mike…
There are times in life when a task presents itself that looks impossible. Balancing a budget. Meeting a deadline. Restoring a relationship. Some times it feels like we do not have what we need to accomplish the challenge in front of us. Some times that’s true. The Israelites probably felt that way when God asked them to build an ornate, impressive tabernacle to worship him in. After all, they just left 400 years of slavery and are roaming through the dessert with whatever they could grab before they left Egypt. Of course nothing is impossible with God. They found they had all the materials they needed and the right skilled people to execute the project. If God has a mission for his people to accomplish, he will provide willing, able people and the resources needed. Thank you, Lord!
LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a lifegroup/church friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations. Pick one each day or pray through them all every day.
CONNECT. Have a question, prayer request, or story? Let us know here or reply via text.
SHARE. Invite a friend to read the Focus with you! Just text “FOCUS” to (586) 200-6277.
Run the race with endurance today, and stay focused on Jesus.
Make it a Great One!
