Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.
THANK. Write down 3-5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.
READ. Our Scripture Focus is Ruth 4:14. Try memorizing it this week!
Today’s reading is from Ruth 4:13-17 (Going Deeper: Isaiah 43:1-13 & Luke 1:67-79)
THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
God’s goodness is always easier to see in the past than in the present or the future. When we first met Naomi, she was bitter. She believed God had turned against her. Left her alone. And she was determined to make that true. She felt hopeless. And in her hopelessness, she tried to leave her only hope. Not long after, Ruth had stayed by her side, God had provided for their every need, and she was given a grandson. Even though she had experienced significant loss, God blessed her beyond measure. So much so that this once bitter, hopeless woman now had hope that God would renew her life and sustain her in her old age. The God who showed her kindness in the past was faithful to do so today and tomorrow - even when she couldn’t see how that was possible. He’s done it before. He’ll do it again. Put your hope in Him today!
LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a lifegroup/church friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations. Pick one each day or pray through them all every day.
SHARE. Stay focused with a friend! Invite them to text “FOCUS” to (586) 200-6277.

Stay focused on Jesus today, and make it a great one!
