Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.
THANK. Write down 3-5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.
READ. Our Scripture Focus is Revelation 1:8. Try memorizing it during this study!
Today’s reading is from Exodus 15:1-3, Psalm 68:34-35, Luke 24:44-49, John 16:28-33, 2 Corinthians 12:6-10, Ephesians 6:10-18 & Philippians 4:4-14
THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
What are your strengths? If we were asked that question in a job interview or personality profile, we probably wouldn’t say “Biceps.” Strength can mean power, but it can also refer to ability. And yet, our first thought when it comes to spiritual strength is often the power and might of God. While this is true, what if we thought of God being our strength as giving us ability? In today’s reading, we’re reminded that God is our strength and promised that God gives us His strength - but strength (or ability) for what?
- In Luke 9, it’s strength (or ability) to accomplish what God has
sent us to do.
- In John 16, it’s strength (or ability) to get through
suffering.
- In 2 Corinthians 12, it’s strength (or ability) to know God is sufficient.
- In Ephesians 6, it’s strength (or ability) to
stand against spiritual attacks.
- In Philippians 4, it’s strength (or ability) to find peace and contentment that
surpasses understanding in any circumstance.
Where do you need God’s strength today? When we see God as our strength, God becomes our salvation!

LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a lifegroup/church friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations. Pick one each day or pray through them all every day.
TALK. That was our take on today’s reading - what’s yours? Share thoughts and ask questions in the forum.
SHARE. Stay focused with a friend! Invite them to text “FOCUS” to (586) 200-6277.

Stay focused on Jesus today, and make it a great one!
