Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.
THANK. Write down 3-5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.
READ. Our Scripture Focus is Revelation 1:8. Try memorizing it during this study!
Today’s reading is from Deuteronomy 6:4-5, Ezekiel 36:25-36, John 3:1-8, John 16:7-15, Ephesians 1:11-19, & 2 Corinthians 3:3
THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
It’s the gift that keeps on giving. This phrase, that at one time Cousin Eddie uttered about a jelly of the month club, is nowhere more true than it is on Christmas. In Christmas, we often say that Jesus is the greatest gift of all. As if Jesus were not enough, this gift from God is the gift that keeps on giving! In Jesus, God cleanses us of impurity and idols, but also gives us a new heart AND a new spirit. God claims us as His people and gives us an inheritance. Most of all, we get the Holy Spirit, by whom we are convicted, guided, empowered to live a life that glorifies God, and more. Today, Thank God that His presence doesn’t leave when the last present is opened. God’s Holy Spirit is the gift that keeps on giving. Find and circle every gift from God in today’s reading. Which do you need most or means most to you today?
LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a lifegroup/church friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations. Pick one each day or pray through them all every day.
TALK. That was our take on today’s reading - what’s yours? Share thoughts and ask questions in the forum.
SHARE. Stay focused with a friend! Invite them to text “FOCUS” to (586) 200-6277.

Stay focused on Jesus today, and make it a great one!
