Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
THANK. Write down 3-5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.

READ. Today’s scripture reading is from Ezekiel 36:26 & Ezekiel 4-5 (Go Deeper: Isaiah 26:8-9 & 1 Peter 2:24)
THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
Have you ever tried to imagine just how long eternity is, how much a trillion dollars is, or how far the earth is from the son? It’s hard to comprehend what we can’t see - and the effects of our sin can be the same way. Ezekiel shows us pictures of a God ready to act in judgment. Each dramatic act portrays the disastrous (and sometimes disgusting) consequences of sin. As you read today, pay attention to your feelings. These verses should disgust us… which is exactly how God feels about sin. People’s continuous, stubborn, and even unthinkable commitment to sin (see 5:10) bring destruction, hunger, separation, devastation, and death. Ezekiel wouldn’t be the only man to show us a picture of sin’s terrible consequences. The cross makes visible the painful reality and consequence of our sin. But where Ezekiel’s ‘laying down’ wasn’t enough to save Israel from theirs, Jesus’ laying down his life was enough to save us from ours. Where Ezekiel’s warning of coming judgment offered no hope of escape, Jesus’ does. Today, may we look long at hard at our own sin, feel the weight of its consequences, and return to a God who has laid down his life to save us from them.
LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations.
