THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
There’s a whole lot of different meanings for the word “love” these days. We love doughnuts, love a sports team, “love you man,” love our kid(s), love our significant other, love our church, and love God. Most of us would even say we don’t hate anyone and “love” everyone - or at least we try. So what kind of love is our scripture focus talking about today? God’s love. And God’s love is the kind that gives until it hurts. God’s love lays down our life. God’s love doesn’t just talk or virtue signal - God’s love acts. And if we say we love God, and we have God’s love in us, then we’ll love people with God’s love, because we’ve been loved that way first - which makes us able to. Here’s the thing, though. You can’t love people alone. And you can’t really love people you don’t know. That’s why we have LifeGroups. Take a step this week by joining one and/or invite someone to read the Daily Focus and discuss it together.
LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…

S: What can I share with those around me?
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a lifegroup/church friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations. Pick one each day or pray through them all every day.
