Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.
THANK. Write down 3-5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.
READ. Our Scripture Focus is Hebrews 12:1-2. Try memorizing it during this study!
Today’s reading is from Hebrews 11 (Going Deeper: Psalm 39:12-13 & Luke 13:34-35)
THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
Today is All Saints Day. It's a day when the Church looks back and remembers the important contributions to made by God’s people for His kingdom here on earth throughout history. You’ve likely heard of many… St. Patrick. St. Francis. St. Joan of Arc. Mother Theresa. Today’s reading is appropriate for this day. Hebrews 11 is often referred to as the faith “Hall of Fame.” It recounts other familiar names throughout scripture, and their contributions. Noah, Abraham, Moses, and more. When we hear names like these, we’re often tempted to think of them as somehow greater than we are. More gifted. More holy. Even more loved by God. But as we’ve been reading throughout Hebrews, there is one greater than all. Jesus. And it is by faith in Him that we are able to do great things in and for God’s kingdom too. How? By faith. Faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen. I don’t know what is uncertain in your life, or what God might be inviting you to do. Receive it by faith on this all saints day. Remember, by faith in Jesus, you’re a saint too! (Need proof? Check out Ephesians 2:19, then do a word search on the word “saint” in the Bible for more!)
LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a lifegroup/church friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations. Pick one each day or pray through them all every day.
TALK. That was our take on today’s reading - what’s yours? Share thoughts and ask questions in the forum.
SHARE. Stay focused with a friend! Invite them to text “FOCUS” to (586) 200-6277.

Stay focused on Jesus today, and make it a great one!
