THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
Micah prophesied Israel would be abandoned until the time when the messiah would be born. While Mary & Joseph were in Bethlehem, the time came. Galatians tells us that God sent His son when the time came to completion. One of the hardest parts of Christmas, especially for the kids, is the waiting. The pain of anticipation doesn’t go away as we get older, though. We may be waiting to find ‘the one,’ waiting to hear back from a college or a job, waiting for God’s provision, waiting on healing or restoration, waiting on an answer to prayer. Christmas reminds us that even in the waiting, God is working. His promises are good, and will be fulfilled. This Christmas, reflect on what God might be working out in the waiting - circumstances He’s aligning, plans He’s designing, character He’s refining. Perhaps the wait is part of the gift. Good news - you don’t have to wait long for Christmas! We’d love to celebrate the gift of Jesus with you today at Paradox Church at 10am and 10pm.
